1983 Ford Fiesta Mk1 Pop Plus – Only 6,976 Miles From New This 1983 Ford Fiesta Mk1 Pop Plus is a truly remarkable survivor, having covered an incredible 6,976 miles from new. Presented in excellent condition throughout and accompanied by an exceptional history file, this has to be one of the lowest-mileage Mk1 Fiestas remaining. What makes this car particularly special is how well its 43-year history has been documented. The extensive paperwork includes the original bill of sale, original service book, historic invoices and job cards, old MOT certificates, tax discs and even its original first registration document. Its ownership history is equally fascinating. The first owner kept the Fiesta for an impressive 18 years before selling it back to the original supplying dealer. The dealer then retained the car for a further five years before selling it in 2006 to its third keeper, who would own it for the following 10 years. It then passed to its fourth keeper for approximately five years, while the fifth and sixth registered keepers were actually within the same family, passing from father to son. In total, the Fiesta has had just six registered keepers across more than four decades. The condition reflects the incredibly low mileage and careful ownership. It presents beautifully inside and out, while mechanically it runs and drives extremely well. This isn't simply an interesting old Fiesta – it's a wonderfully preserved example that's ready to be enjoyed, displayed and taken to shows. As a historic vehicle, the car is MOT exempt.
